On our 10-day journey, we explored Sri Lanka, a lovely country with unusual wildlife, breathtaking landscapes and beaches, a rich history and culture, and some of the friendliest people you’ll ever encounter. Start in Negombo, then travel to Sigiriya Rock for the breathtaking panoramas of the surroundings. Tour a tea plantation, and enjoy learning about Sri Lankan food at a local culinary school. After taking a ride on the renowned blue train, embark on a safari to look for the local animals, including as elephants, buffalo, and flamingos.
